Virta wins second design/supply order for petroleum coke belt conveyor package

Virta was recently awarded a second contract to engineer, manufacture and deliver a petroleum belt conveyor package for a major oil refinery project. The system includes four belt conveyors totaling over 400 m in length and two high-lift vertical pocket conveyors. The scope includes all mechanical equipment, structural steel, platework and instrumentation. When completed in 2022, the conveyors will carry up to 1,150 tonnes/hour.
